Gustave Reininger is the co-creator of the hit NBC TV drama, "Crime Story" which was based on the Chicago Mafia, "The Outfit," and how it got off the streets and into the boardrooms of Las Vegas casinos. Reininger’s career started in international investment banking, in an off-shore banking venture with John Scott-Ellis, the 9th Baron Howard de Walden. While in Europe, Reininger co-produced a French Language thriller starring Dennis Hopper, “Last In – First Out.” Returning to the U.S. Reininger was a contributor to Michael Mann's “Miami Vice” and “Robbery Homicide Division.” He has worked with directors Sydney Pollack, Penny Marshall, Paul Verhoeven and other notable filmmakers. Reininger recently directed another feature length documentary “Getting Beyond” featuring Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Deepak Chopra, Thicht Nhat Han. He spends his time between Pacific Palisades (CA), New York City and Paris. “Corso – The Last Beat” is Reininger’s directorial debut.

 

Damien LeVeck, a graduate of USC school of Cinematic Arts, has directed and produced numerous new product films for Apple, Inc. He has edited two prestigious feature-length documentaries, "Getting Beyond" (Desmond Tutu, Depak Chopra and others) and "Corso - The Last Beat." He is presently finishing work co-editing an independent feature comedy, "Chasing Robert" (Andy Dick, Dan Castellaneta, Larry Miller, Rick Overton)
